Some weather forecasta predict rain all morning , in which case this ride will be cancelled. Regular Sunday Casual riders need to check for a WhasApp message from Gordon in the morning. Any new guest riders need to be aware the ride may be cancelled and if so we look forward to welcoming you next Sunday
Sunday Casual meets at 9.30 am outside The Stag in Wellesbourne.This ride is open to all club members, or any new riders who want to try club cycling as a guest.
Distance is typically 25 to 30 miles at an average speed of 11-14 mph which for most people is a very relaxed…...you might even say even a Casual pace !
Our objective is to provide an enjoyable ride to meet the needs of as many of those riding. So speeds will be faster or slower, This is mainly determined by who is riding that particular day eg current club members or new guest riders
If necessary we will regroup if a gap opens up eg at the top of a hill. We have never left any rider behind as it the responsibility of the Ride Leader is to ensure everyone returns home safely.

From the SH we will head out of Wellesbourne up Staple’s hill, over the Fosse to Kineton via the Gaydon back road, then onto Tysoe and Brailes, then along the B4035 into Shipston. The coffee stop will, therefore, be at Anne’s Tea rooms at Shipston, (which I shall pre book). We will then head back via Honington, Whatcote, Fulready, Pillerton Priors, Walton, Wellesbourne. The distance is 33 Miles approx. with just a few gentle climbs, but not too serious.
