Sunday Casual Ride

Our objective is to provide an enjoyable ride to meet the needs of as many of those riding. So speeds will be faster or slower, This is mainly determined by who is riding that particular day eg current club members or new guest riders. If necessary we will regroup if a gap opens up eg at the top of a hill. We have never left any rider behind as it the responsibility of the Ride Leader is to ensure everyone returns home safely.

Ride leader is Alison Speechly and route is Hampton Lucy, Snitterfield, Aston Cantlow and Welford and then return via Lower Quinton, Wimpstone, Alderminster and Loxley. The cafe stop is at the Expresso Barn Café on Station Road Long Marston.The plan assuming we’ve got the timings and distances correct is to meet the Club riders there. Overall distence is 35 miles.

Please remember new meeting point for Sunday -Old Ettington Road (although since we’ll ride past the Stag if you forget we’ll only laugh as we ride past and you can tag on the back).

At the moment Met Office forecast for Sunday morning is heavy rain however it may change before then and unless it is extremely unpleasant casual ride will go ahead so hope to see you all on Sunday.
