New: Guidelines on group riding  - See Riding Section - Advice for Riders

Welcome to the website, do you . . .

. . . enjoy cycling and would like a change from solo rides?

. . . . . . want to meet a friendly group of like-minded cyclists?

Then the Wellesbourne Wheelers could be the cycling club for you.

Now well into our fourth year and with over 90 members we currently have three group rides (Hastings Group, Dene Group and Mountford Group) on a Thursday and two group rides (Sunday Club Group and Sunday Casual Group) on a Sunday morning.  We have also recently added a Tuesday evening ride for this summer (2018). The Riding section has details of each ride group and the Events section has details of individual routes planned.

Whether male or female, experienced cyclist or beginner, you can be sure of a warm welcome.

Martin, one of our Hastings Group riders, found this parked up at our lunch stop this week. Think he will be keeping his own bike though

Cycling Safety

Ian Brooks, a ride leader with the Mountford Group, has volunteered to take on the task of representing Wellesbourne Wheelers on the subject of "Cycling Safety". Ian will be developing his contacts with the relevant local authorities in the coming months and of course would welcome any comments and suggestions.

On the same subject, we were contacted by a freelance writer recently who has written some pages on cycling safety. A link to these has been placed in the "Cycling Chat" section of our forum.
