Cafe at Little Alne
« on: 05 August 2017, 20:11 »
Secondhand info but from a reliable source:   A cafe has opened at the craft centre at Little Alne - cakes, tea etc.  I don't have the opening hours in detail but understand that for the WW days (Thursday & Sunday) they are open 1000 - 1500.  I believe it's a spin-off from a gift shop.

There was a cafe at the same site about 5 years ago but opening hours were spasmodic which coupled with sloooow service perhaps contributed to its demise.

Now first-hand information : Buttercup Tearoom - went there this morning on my 30+ mile ride - excellent food and very friendly lady running it.  While we were there 8 more cyclists appeared.

Menu includes cakes etc as well as breakfast, egg on toast etc.

Hours are 1000-1600 Tues, Weds, Fri, Sat & 1000-1500 Thurs & Sun.
