Dene Ride

I changed the ride for this week as I went for a walk today and wanted to share the sights of the Lavender with you. It is in perfec bloom just like the Dene contingent.

This is a Park & Ride Starting at 10:00

Start location is OS Grid Ref 172334 Directions A429 from Wellesbourne, Moreton in Marsh right to Bourton o Hill A44, After BoH Right towards Blockley B4479, Before descending the hill turn right to Batsford and Aston Magna. Park on the right at the side of the road under large trees about 1/2 mile from the last turning.

Route

Bourton on the Hill, Condecote, Ford, Barton, Guiting Power, Charleton Abbots, Winchcombe, Stanway (hill), Snowshill (lavender) back to car.

There is a short section of track so not your best light tyres, but it is fine if taken slowly, I have riden it in the past.

The weather is going to be very hot so it is going to be a very steady day and there is a good number of the lanes with tree shade and river paddle if required.
