The routes are reversed and or a bit modified so they are different to previous.

Some notes for our century ride.

A long ride is one to be enjoyed and taken at an appreciative pace and as it is special and needs a bit of effort some less familiar lanes are woven into the day. The start is at The Beckford Inn again as this meets the above criteria and is flattish. Start time is 09:00 and returning to Beckford 5 ½ hours later for the metric centaury, 1 hour in the Post Office cafe and an additional expedition to add 40 miles to make it an imperial century, totalling 10 hours max. If this is insufficient I will be leaving Meon Vale at 07:00 to ride over, leaving from the gym car park.

The weather is going to be hot so bring plenty of water and nibbles.

Dumbleton, Sedgebarrow, Charlton, Fladbury, Bishampton, Throckmorton, North Piddle, Grafton Flyford, Kington, Hillers (cafe 34ml), Bidford, Cleeve Prior, Badsey, Willersley (not hill), Broadway, Warmington, Alderton, Beckford.

Cafe stop ~ 1 hour

14:30 Depart

Kemerton, Ekington, Defford, Upper Strensham, Twyning, Forthampton, Tirley, Hawbridge Inn coffee?, Deerhurst and Odda’s Chapel, Tredington, Gotherington, Dixton, Alderton and Beckford.

Please confirm if you are joining and offer car share where possible. Park in the slip road off the A46 in front of the Beckford Arms.
