Route for ride this Sunday is as follows and Ride leader is Mick Burvill

Hampton Lucy to Stratford/Warwick road

Straight over to Stratford by pass

Turn right for short distance then left to Heath End (care to be taken here as may be busy)

Ahead to Norton Lindsey

Langley to Claverdon

Claverdon to Lowsonford

Lowsonford to Crab Mill Pub

Pettiford Lane to Wooton Wawen

Café stop at yew tree farm approx. 19 miles

Penniford Lane to Little Alne

Little Alne to Great Alne

Great Alne to Wilmcote

Then

1. Take the ridge way to Stratford and skirt Stratford through Shottery and seven meadows road to Banbury road turn off to Croft School and head back to Wellesbourne on the Loxley road winding up for the sprint just after the airfield turn
2. Take Kings lane to Snitterfield down Ingon lane and back through Hatton Rock, Hampton Lucy and Charlecote ready for the sprint back to Wellesbourne on the Charlecote Road

Option a is around 37 miles and option b a few miles less and can be finalised on the day by majority decision

There are no major hills to speak of but is a nice undulating route on some very quite lanes, some even have grass growing in the middle of the road and feels quite remote in parts although never quite far from main roads

I would suggest a 9-30 start as last few weeks have been
